How To Mend A Broken Heart
|
"The
Heart is the most resilient organ in the body...For the Heart
knows how to mend itself." |
What happens when we experience
a broken Heart?
Usually a broken Heart is preceded by a loss. A loss of a loved
one, a relationship, a job, an identity, a role or perhaps even
a loss of self.
Often our first reaction to loss is to try and figure things
out...the why of it all. We often come up short. Our entire being
is thrown off balance. Then the feelings set in. Loss causes
feelings of sadness, hurt, abandonment, fear, anxiety and stress.
These feelings are real and need to be embraced in order for
our broken Heart to mend. We need to find a gentle method of
releasing these feelings to resolution. Otherwise, these feelings
get burried alive and thus never die. So the question then becomes...
How can we embrace our feelings
and release them?
Through a gentle process called Healing From The Heart, we are
able to effectively release these feelings. Restoring the body
back to balance and harmony.
Forgiveness is a gift from the Heart and is often a process that
occurs during the healing phase. Forgiveness of others and forgiveness
of self occurs through the loving embrace of the Heart.
If you are experiencing a broken Heart here are 7 steps you can
follow to assist you in releasing unwanted feelings and allowing
love to flow through your Heart.
The 7 Steps To
Mending A Broken Heart
1. Breathe Deeply
as you exhale release all tension and strain from your body
2. Scan your body
on the inside and note any feelings you feel...
just allowing yourself to be with these feelings for a few moments...
3. Imagine these feelings to be a little child...
visualize this little child, see him or her and note where they
are and what they are doing...
4. See Yourself Entering Into This Image...
See yourself as an adult entering into this picture with this
little child. Step over to this little child and remain next
to him or her...
5.Begin to dialogue with this little child...
ask
"What are you feeling?" ...
"What do you need most right now from me in order for you
to feel better?"
6. Listen carefully
with understanding eyes and gentle ears...
7. Give this little child just what he or she needs
right now in this moment... see yourself reaching over and
taking this little child's hand in yours, embracing this child
in a hug and telling him or her
"Everything is going to be allright...
You are loved and you are not alone."
*notice how this little
child feels once she has been loved by you* you can take this
little child with you now wherever you go.
